When searching names it is important enclose the name in quotes - eg "John Jones". Somes sources, Directories for example, have names in reverse order, so also try the form "Jones John". |
Missing out the quotes will certainly return the above forms, but will also include many other unwanted combinations (for example pages with 'John Smith' and 'Huw Jones') |
It may also be necessary to check for alternate spellings and middle names or initials by using asterisks and question marks as described in 'search tips' below |
