Data Description:Davidson-McComb Cemetery / McCormick County, SC
Submitter: Jane Gillespie
Date Posted:18 July 2001
Photographer: Jane Gillespie

DIRECTIONS:
Davidson-McComb Cemetery is
located in McCormick County, off
road S-33-36. Turn left at Young
homeplace and down the old dirt
road. It is not easy to find. There
are 7 or 8 stones in the cemetery.
Most unmarked.

The largest is a stone marked for
Thomas McComb and his 2 "sister
babes". I believe that Andrew
McComb (who is credited with
the carving of the Indian
Massacre stone) also carved
this stone. (Jane Gillespie)
