Louise Bridges Louise Humphries Bridges, 75, of 643 South Grove St., died June 17, 2004. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8: 30 p.m. Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home. Born in Cleveland County, she worked in the hosiery industry. Survivors include her husband, Loy Bridges of the home; a daughter, Denise Boggs of Stanley; two granddaughters, Deanna Boggs and Lauren Boggs and two sisters, Carolyn Patrick of Lincolnton and Annette Cook of Maiden. Mr. Loy D. Bridges age 88 of South Grove Street, Lincolnton, died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at his home. His funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. James Cool officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton. Mr. Bridges was born in Lincoln County and was the son of the late Thomas P. and Sallie Ingle Bridges. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise H. Bridges, six brothers and two sisters. He retired from the Duke Power Construction Department after 24 years of service. Mr. Bridges was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II in Germany, France and England. He is survived by one daughter, Denise Boggs and husband Alvin of Stanley; two granddaughters, Deanna Devine and husband T.J. of Indian Trail and Lauren Boggs; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Patrick and husband Larry of Lincolnton and Annette Cook and husband Rickey of Maiden; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 102 North Cedar Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092. Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton is serving the Bridges family.
