     Abraham Moblad was born on 26 December 1772 at Gravendal, Säfsnäs Parish, Kopparberg County, Sweden. Among the witnesses listed was merchant Abraham Fröding.^3,4 He appeared on the church records of Gravendal, Säfsnäs Parish, Kopparberg County, in 1794. He came from Grånse (probably misspelled). Jacob may have went there when he left the parish in 1792.⁵ He lived on 10 November 1804 at Karlstad, Värmland County, Sweden; his occupation was minister's clerk.⁶ He was county bookkeeper from 1810 to 1815 at Rohen, Värmland County, Sweden. Abraham died before 10 September 1826. His occupation was district tax register.¹

     Adolph Moblad was born on 12 October 1781 at Gravendal, Säfsnäs Parish, Kopparberg County, Sweden. His sister Engleborg was a witness.^1,2 He was a student between 1794 and 1799 at Lund, Östra Fägelvik Parish, Värmland County, Sweden.³ He died in 1800 at Lund, Östra Fägelvik Parish, Värmland County.³

     Cathrina Moblad Proof of relationship to Daniel is missing. However they are both in same parish. Cathrina has child in 1771 so she was born about 1751, too old to be Daniel's child. Church records need to be better checked. She married Peter Berg.¹

The 1866 - 1870 Clerical Survey Record is the first instance found in which Moblad was used as Christine's and Maria's surname.¹ She and Jan Petter Magnusson appeared on the church records of No. 168 Staden, Karlstad, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1877 and 1880. There are 100 people living at this address, including about 25 families with about 25 children. It appears there are about 35 apartments in the building. Christina is living with 6 other females and Peter is living with two other men. There is also a Gustaf Moblad, not further identified, living there.² She emigrated from Karlstad on 15 October 1880. Traveling from Göteborg, Sweden to Hull, England on the ship Orlando, Christina then went to Liverpool, England where she boarded the SS City of Montreal for the Atlantic Ocean crossing to New York City, arriving on the 29th of October. Her ticket took her on to Chicago..^3,4,5 She married John Peter Extrom, son of Magnus Magnusson and Cajsa Stina Gustafsdotter, on 4 November 1881 at Varna, Marshall County, Illinois. They were married by G. O. Gustafson, Minister of the Swedish Lutheran Church in Varna.⁶ Christina died on 9 November 1925 at Wenona, Marshall County, Illinois, at age 71.⁷ Her body was interred on 11 November 1925 at Swedish Cemetery, Wenona, LaSalle County, Illinois.

     Daniel Moblad was born in 1725.² He was educated in 1747 at Uppsala University, Uppsala County, Sweden. He entered on 15 January from Varmland. His birth is given as 1724. He was a Bruksinspektor (inspector).^3,4 He (an unknown value) in 1752. He appeared on the church records of Gravendal, Säfsnäs Parish, Kopparberg County, Sweden, 1752 - 1753. Daniel moves to Gravendal in 1752. There is no indication where he came from. Daniel is listed as born in 1722.⁵ He married Eva Catharina Fröding, daughter of Olof Fröding and Ragnilll Eriksdotter, on 14 October 1756 at Ostra Fågelvik Parish, Värmland County, Sweden; The brides name was given as Eva Cajsa Froding.^6,7 Daniel Moblad and Eva Catharina Fröding appeared on the church records of Gravendal, Säfsnäs Parish, Kopparberg County, between 1756 and 1763. Daniel is listed with the title of Inspector. His birthdate has changed to 1725 and his move to Gravendahl as 1753.⁸ Daniel Moblad died on 1 April 1787 at Östra Fägelvik Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, He was buried on the 9th.⁹

     Englelborg Moblad was born on 1 October 1757 at Gravendal, Säfsnäs Parish, Kopparberg County, Sweden.^2,3 She married Jacob Herman Löfman on 9 April 1778 at Säfsnäs Parish, Kopparberg County, Sweden.⁴ Englelborg Moblad and Jacob Herman Löfman appeared on the church records of Grangesberg, Grangärde Parish, Kopparberg County, Sweden, between 1785 and 1791. They move to Fågelvik on 14 Apr 1791.⁵ Englelborg Moblad and Jacob Herman Löfman lived between 1794 and 1799 at Lund, Östra Fägelvik Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, Niece Eva Maria Öjebom is living with them. Engleborng's brother Adolph also resides there.⁶ Englelborg Moblad lived between 1821 and 1831 at Lund, Östra Fägelvik Parish, Värmland County, Engelborg continues to live at Lund until her death. Since Moblad is a very unusual name (there were 5 people in all of Sweden in 1890) it is probably that Erland was the father. However, there is no father mentioned in the birth records.¹ He lived between 1856 and 1860 at Skrõtingerud, Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, He was living with his maternal grandparents. His mother was living in Õjervik, a distance of about two miles.² He died on 23 April 1908 at Stockholm, Sweden, at age 56.

Erland was baptised the same day..¹ Erland moved from Kristinehamn Parish on 25 June 1843 to Karstad in Karstads Parish. Erland is living with his wife and children After his death, the family moves to Ulfaxend. They were living at 5536 South Morgan Street. It apparently was an apartment building as four families, a total of 13 people were living there..⁵

     Eva Moblad was born on 20 April 1769 at Gravendal, Säfsnäs Parish, Kopparberg County, Sweden.^2,1 She married Carl Magnus Öjebom on 1 February 1789 at Grangärde Parish, Kopparberg County, Sweden; Carl profession is reported as a merchant.^3,4 Eva Moblad and Carl Magnus Öjebom appeared on the church records of Karlstad Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1790 and 1794. They leave sometime during the period. The only entries are for the year 1791. Only son Bengts Daniel is shown with his parents.⁵ Eva Moblad was New Tag Eva and her husband resided at Grafon between 1793 and 1796. She and Carl Magnus Öjebom lived between 1799 and 1804 at Lund, Östra Fägelvik Parish, Värmland County, Sweden.⁶

They are first recorded in the parish in 1792. Johan is listed as an inspector. There three sons are listed with them.⁴ Magdalena Moblad died on 5 November 1792 at Grangesberg, Grangärde Parish, Kopparberg County, at age 30 She was buried on the 13th.⁵

     Maria Kajsa Moblad was born illegitimate on 2 February 1854 at Rottneros, Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden. She appeared on the church records of Brårud, Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1871 and 1875. She moved to Hålleberg on 15 Oct 1872 and then to Neder Ullerud Parish where she is livning in a residence called Risaten with numerous other people including her sister Christina.¹ She died in 1914 at Värmland County, Sweden.

     Nils Gustaf Moblad Jonsson was born on 14 March 1857 at Skäggeberg, Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden.¹ Nils Gustaf used the name Moblad in 1866. He moved to Stockholm in 1874.²

     Olof Moblad was born on 26 February 1760 at Gravendal, Säfsnäs Parish, Kopparberg County, Sweden.^1,2 He married Lovisa Fröding, daughter of Abraham Fröding and Maria Hindrichsdotter, on 30 September 1783 at Filipstad Parish, Värmland County, Sweden.³ Olof Moblad and Lovisa Fröding appeared on the church records of Gravendal, Säfsnäs Parish, Kopparberg County, between 1785 and 1787. They moved away in 1787.⁴

     Ingeborg Mänsdotter was born circa 1680 at Mällby, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden. She married Bengt Svensson circa 1700. She married Johan Hinriksson circa 1706 at Väse, Värmland, Sweden. Ingeborg Mänsdotter and Johan Hinriksson appeared on the church records of Mällby, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1728 and 1735. The record shows Johan and wife Ingeborg with children Bengt, Maria, Magnus, Erik, Karin, and Mäns.¹ Ingeborg died on 28 August 1737 at Väse, Värmland, Sweden, at age at an unknown age . Her body was interred on 4 September 1737 at Church yard at Mällby, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden. The following was recorded in the church records: The 4th of September 1737 the wife Ingeborg Mänsdotter was buried on the church-yard. She was born on Mellby, well brought, learnt to read, in her 20th year married to Bengt Svensson from Västergötland, lived with him for 6 years without children, widow one year and then married to Jean Henriksson from Wiberg for 30 years. Got 9 children. Ill for two years staying in bed, got the communion and died after devoted prayers the 28th of August, 57 years old..

     Maria Månsdotter was born. She married Pehr Hansson in 1704. She married Anders Pehrsson in 1735. Maria died circa 1750 at at Gräsås, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden.
