Soldier Nils is shown as born in 1759, Katharina in 1755 and son Nils in 1784. Location of births not given. They are living at the bostallet (sholdier's home).^1,4 He married Catharina Jonsdotter on 26 October 1783 at Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden. NIls was a soldier.⁵ Nils Lofman died on 30 May 1817 at Lund, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, at age 62.⁶ He was buried on 1 June 1817.⁶

     Kain Nielsdotter was born in 1712.² She married Pers Segolsson on 26 November 1730 at Ransäter Parish, Värmland County, Sweden.^1,3 Kain Nielsdotter and Pers Segolsson appeared on the church records of Skavåsen, Ransäter Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1776 and 1782. They may have lived on the farm for some years and stayed on the farm until their deaths. Son Petter and his wife also lived there as did daughter Cathrina with her daughter Maria for a short period of time, probably between marriages.² Kain Nielsdotter died after 1782 at Skavåsen, Ransäter Parish, Värmland County.²

Nils was from Lund and Cajsa from Faxstad. His age is given as 24 and hers as 25.⁴ Kajsa Nilsdotter and Nils Gustaf Stenholm appeared on the church records of Faxstad, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1821 and 1825. They moved to Lervik in 1823.⁵ Kajsa Nilsdotter appeared on the church records of Lervik, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1841 and 1845.⁶ She appeared on the church records of Hoflanda Lervik, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1856 and 1860.⁷ She died on 18 August 1872 at Hoflanda, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, at age 77 years, 5 months and 13 days The record says she died of old age.⁸

     She married William Rudolph Extrom, son of Jan Petter Magnusson and Christina Moblad, on 1 April 1949. Ruth Olmsted died on 7 November at Hinsdale Sanitarium, LaGrange, Illinois, Obituary - Mrs. R.F. Extrom Dies After A Short Illness -
After a short illness of two weeks Mrs. Ruth F. Extrom passed away at the Hinsdale Sanitarium of pneumonia, Nov. 7. Mrs. Extrom came to LaGrange from Elcho, Wis., more than 35 years ago and has lived continuously in the village since that time. Wife of William R. Extrom she had lived at 345 N. Waiola ave., LaGrange Park.
A graduate of Teachers college in Antigo, Wis., she had taught school before her marriage.
Funeral services were held at Hallowell and James Funeral Parlors on Saturday, Nov. 9 with interment in Fairmount cemetery.
Mrs. Extrom is survived by her husband William, a son Wesley F. Loomis of Riverside; a daughter Patricia Nelson of La Grange Park; three grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Lettie Mahr of W. Bend, Wis., two brothers, Jesse of Antigo and All Olmstead of Wausaw, Wis. She is also survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Olmstead of Antigo.¹

She married Erik Ragvaldsson, son of Ragvald Jonsson and Kajsa Andersdotter, on 13 October 1734 at Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden.¹ Ingiärd Olofsdotter and Erik Ragvaldsson appeared on the church records of Söre, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1755 and 1769. Both Anders and Olof leave home during the period. Daughter Cajsa is recorded in the household examinations as being born in 1752. She was born on 31 Dec 1751 and baptised on 1 Jan 1752.² Ingiärd Olofsdotter appeared on the church records of Söre, Väse Parish, Värmland County, between 1766 and 1769. The seven children remain at Söre after the death of their parents.^3,4 Ingiärd died on 30 September 1769 at Söre, Väse Parish, Värmland County. It was reported that she had lived at home until age 35, and was 73 years, 11 months old. She had had 6 sons and 3 daughters..⁵ She was buried on 22 October 1769 at Söre, Väse Parish, Värmland County.⁵

     Cheriste Olofsson was born on 14 September 1783 at Wisteberg, Östra Ämtervik Parish, Värmland County, Sweden. The twins were given an emergency christining by the midwife. This was confirmed by the parish priest. Both children died the same day.¹
