     Kajsa Olsdotter was born on 26 January 1826 at Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden.¹ She appeared on the church records of Arneby, Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, in 1845.² She resided, at Skarped, Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, before 1850.³ She and Maria Nilsdotter lived between 1850 and 1852 at Rottneros, Sunne, Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, Kajsa Olsdotter and Maria Nilsdotter both lived with at least a dozen other single females. They were the only ones to have children (out of wedlock) and by the same man.⁴ Kajsa Olsdotter died on 28 December 1903 at Öjervik, Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, at age 77.⁵

She married Lars Christophersson, son of Christopher Olsson and Brita Gudmensdotter, circa 1788. Kari Olsdotter and Lars Christophersson appeared on the church records of Brårud, Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1795 and 1799. Lars family had his sister Carr live with them from 1795 to 1797.¹ She married Jons Jonsson before 1805.²

Erik Emanuel Olson died at his home in this city Tuesday night following three years of declining health. He was 51 years old February 26, 1938.
Born in Sweden, February 26, 1887, Mr. Olson came to the United States in 1907 and engaged in farming near Munster where he live several years. He married Ellen Theresa Ekstrom March 7, 1914 and to their union four children were born, one dying in infancy. Surviving with his widow are two sons and one daughter: Melvin and Virgil, and Alice. The children have been employed in Chicago. Two of them, Alice and Melvin, will return to the city and Virgil will stay with his mother for a while. Several brothers and sisters of the deceased live in Sweden. A nephew in Chicago is the sole survivor outside the immediate family circle.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at Bethany Lutheran church of which he was a member. Rev George P Bernard will officiate. Pall bearers will be: Emil Johnson, David Johnson, Edwin Hylin, Oral Axline and Gus Swanson, the latter a former resident but now living in Rockford.
Mr. Olson was a quiet, friendly gentleman. He had a wide circle of friends who were deeply concerned during his last illness. They joined with the family in doing everything possible to cheer and comfort him. He was so grateful for it all and never complained of suffering..¹ He was buried on 5 May 1938 at Swedish Cemetery, Wenona, LaSalle County, Illinois.¹

Funeral services for the late Erik Olson were held last Thursday afternoon. After a brief service at the home the public service was held at Bethany church at 2 o'clock, Rev. Geo. P. Bernard officiating. The church was filled with sympathizing friends and relatives in token of respect for the deceased.
At the home service Miss Blanche Lindgren sang a solo and at the church service Edwin Lindgren sang two solos, one in English and one in Swedish. Flower girls were Helen Lindgren, Ellenore Crone, Martha Mae Helander and Marjorie Johnson.

     Lillian Alice Olson was born on 18 September 1919 at Reading Township, Livingston County, Illinois. She married Harold Burdette Evans at Wenona, Marshall County, Illinois. Lillian Alice Olson died on 20 July 2005 at Seattle, King County, Washington, at age 85.

     William Arthur Olson was born on 18 September 1919 at Reading Township, Livingston County, Illinois. William died on 12 March 1920 at Reading Twp., Livingston Co., IL. His body was interred on 14 March 1920 in at Riverview Cemetery.

     Christopher Olsson was born in 1718. He married Brita Gudmensdotter, daughter of Gudmend and Giartud. Christopher was employed at as a soldier at Thorsby, Sunne Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, before 1750.¹ He and Brita Gudmensdotter appeared on the church records of Thorsby, Sunne, between 1781 and 1784. During the period, Christopher is listed as a discharged soldier and wife Brita has arthritus. Daughter Carr leaves home, Gerturd is living next door with her family, Olof and his wife Kathina and their family remain in the household, as does Brita with her two children, Youngest son Lars is also in the household for a total of 12 people at the end of the survey period.² Christopher died on 1 April 1797 at Thorsby, Sunne. He was reported as 79 years old. He was buried on the 9th..³

The couple leaves the parish for their new home on November 25, 1889. They may have went to the parish of Nor. Emma was the 383rd person to leave the parish in 1889.²

Jonas Olsson and Stina Börjesdotter appeared on the church records of Hammargrinden, Väse Parish, Värmland County, Sweden, between 1816 and 1820. Stina is living with her husband Jonas and four of her children. Cajsa leaves to live in Lund in 1817, while Maria returned home from Hammar in 1815, but leaves for Linäs in 1820. Hindrick's birthdate is gives as 1 Sep 1801.¹ Jonas resided at Hammargrinden after his marriage to Stina. He appeared on the church records of Hammargrinden between 1826 and 1831. Step daughter Kajsa moves away during the period.²
