Dear friends,Your letter recived and contents duly note,was glad to hear from you,and more than glad to hear,that you found two sisters instead of one I am real sorry that I did not get to SanAntonio,my wife was going with me, but she said it was to hot to injoy our selves,and another thing,the ellection on hand and I had to see after my rase for Couty attorney.I am elected alread at this hour, as I did not have oposision.Strange things happens to me,every now and then,I recived a letter to day that came on the same train with your letter,from a man that I thought was dead a long time ago,he,left here 28 years ago.His name is W.C. Atkison.
As to those papers I will send them to you,in a few days. I wish you would write me, something about your sister Julia , I was under the impression she was dead,if you remmember that I tought your other sister was name Clara,I hope Mrs. Wolles, family is well by this time
Am sorry that you did not get to see Mr. Leggler, do you recond that he avoided you,perhaps he did,as it would bring back past memories,He told me once he would never love another person as he did your mother,
I hope you liked Mrs. Leggler I had the pleasure of meeting her one time.
well I do not know of nothing els to write you,that would interest You , perhaps this will wory you. But always remember I am glad I made your & Mr.Langes aquaitence and hope you both the best things of this life and the little girl (my aunt) also.
