The Index of the Repressed is a database compiled of “Polish citizens who had been persecuted in the Soviet Union or under the Soviet occupation.”  I highly recommend visiting this site to search for other Polish surnames that are in your family.  There is about a dozen separate databases that when combined totals hundreds of thousands of names.  Some of those listed where executed while others were imprisoned.  Be sure to check back with them at a later time, as not all of the databases are available yet.  They are also in the process of translating the pages into English.
