served the community in numerous ways. After moving to Memphis, Mr. Fair served on the Boy Scouts of
America Executive Committee, Shelby County Board of Commissioners, Chickasaw
Basin Authority, Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau and also served as a
member of the Trinity Health Care Advisory Board. Mr. Fair leaves his wife,
Diane Fair; four sons, Ronnie Fair of Heber Springs and Greg Fair, Lance Fair
and Jason Fair, all of Memphis,
and five grandsons and two great-granddaughters. The family requests that

York to mother Anna ? and father Clyde. Atwood was the husband of Bronnie Lou
(Meeks) Gilson of Tenille, Ga.
They resided in Marion, Arkansas for many years before and at
the time of their deaths. Atwood also attended and was a long time member
of the First United Methodist
Church on Missouri
St. in West Memphis.
He was also a Free Mason. He was initiated February 3, 1977. He was still a
member when he passed April
3, 1993. Atwood left behind one son, Clyde Gilson. Also
left behind were his two grandchildren Clyde Atwood "Woody"
Gilson the 2nd and Courtney Gilson. Bronnie and Atwood are missed dearly
by both family and friends.

from a chapter in New Orleans,
Louisiana on August 16, 1973. She also
served as Worthy Grand Matron. She left behind one son, Clyde Atwood
Gilson. She also left behind two grandchildren, Clyde Atwood
Gilson the 2nd and her "star," Courtney
Gilson. Bronnie's husband, Atwood "A.E." Gilson later
followed in April of 1993.

national Oral History Association and as President of the Coal Miners Research
Association, was a member of the Faculty Advisory Committee of Kentucky Council
on Higher Education and was the only faculty member elected to two consecutive
terms on the Board of Regents. Dr. Hammack was the author of a book and several
academic articles. He leaves his wife, Charlotte Mills Hammack; a daughter,
Amanda Hammack Crain of Marion; a son, James Wallace Hammack III of Murray and
