I really have enjoyed browsing the web site on the cemeteries in Arkansas. I have found a lot of my relatives in these pages and seems most of my relatives are in Akin Cemetery but there are some in several others.

This is in response to Margaret Renner Pendleton, who is seeking Renner burials in Cherry Valley cemeteries.... I find Willie RENNER (1901-1977) and Bertha RENNER (1902-1992) buried in Misner Cemetery in Cherry Valley. Lee RENNER was from Cross County (died 1969) and is buried at Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion. Both of these cemeteries are included on Southern Roots at Rootsweb. Several Renners are buried in Tyer Cemetery just south of Cherry Valley, but in Poinsett County. RENNER, Donald, born 1915, died 1974 RENNER, Kathlene, born 1938, died 1943 RENNER, Robert, born 1912, died 1976 RENNER, Savanah, born 1879, died 1965 This cemetery is posted on the Harry Vredingburgh website for Poinsett County http://users.bscn.com/harryv/tyerc.htm Another burial at Tyer Cemetery, not included on the website: Phillip RENNER, 1854-1932 Hope these help.

Hello, I am trying to find information on my Great Grandmother's Father Matthew Cole for what information I do have I Great Grandmother Ida Cole was born June 6 1880 in Branch Arkansas to Matthew Cole and Elizabeth ( Hunter) Cole on them I have no information but I do have information on Ida Cole she was born June 6 1880 in Branch Arhansas and died ca 1918 she was buried in Cloe's Chaple Cemetery, she married John Wasson in 1896, John Wasson died and Ida married a John R. Ragsdale of Chismville Arkansas in 1899 and her childern were J.Edgar Wasson,Noah Cecil Ragsdale, Claud Matthew Ragsdale, Emma Ragsdale,Cora Ragsdale, Golda Ragsdale(my Grandmother) Dovie Ragsdale, Daisy Ragsdale, Nona Ragsdale. I would like any and all information on the above mentioned Matthew Cole if I may be able to get it ( if you dont have any information on him can you tell me were I might look for it) Thank You and God Bless

I am the Granddaughter of Donald Garman son of Eza Ola Meadows and James Waldon Garmon. I saw yor web page and proceeded to look up my family history when I didnt find my grandfathers name. Infact he nor his brothers are in any of your records. This is a very upsetting situation for us grandchildren as well as my grandmother Ruby. We are DIRECT DECENDANTS not married in like the people on YOUR LIST We are curious as to why we are not on this list of supposed decendants, like I stated before... we are direct decendants and we are very upset that we havent been informed-or-included to or about your list. My grandfather had 10 children 5 boys, 5 girls- 37 grandchildren in total.

My father's family came from Tennessee, Green County to Ohio in the 1930's. My grandmother was Emma Grubb or Grubbs 1902-1939, died of cancer in Akron Ohio. My grandfather was John Henry Lunsford, his parents were John Lunsford and Rebecca McNeese from Green County Tenn. I was able to trace Rebecca's family back to the 1600's in County Caven, Ireland but have come up empty handed with the Lunsford and Grubbs names. My father and his siblings are all dead and were not willing to talk of any family business while they were alive. I am not sure what that was all about, I just know my father had very serious violent tendicies. My aunt sheltered her daughter and did not let her go to school once she developed. My cousin is 41 like me and has never been on a date. Some serious issues here. I have been through therapy but I am hoping to be able to help the others in my family who have suffered and would like to know if there is any record of any mental illness in the family. She was Mary Elizabeth Young, married Leslie Rogers b. 1886 son of Reuben Rogers b.1851 in La. and Alice Stanley B. 1853 in Ar.
