15TH, 1913, WITH INTEREST AT THE RATE OF TEN PER CENT PER ANNUM FROM
DATE UNTIL PAID, DO HEREBY GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL AND CONVEY UNTO THE SAID BRUCE LUNSFORD AND MAY LUNSFORD, HIS WIFE, AND UNTO THEIR HEIRS AND ASSIGNS FOREVER, THE
FOLLOWING LAND LYING AND BEING IN THE COUNTY OF CROSS IN THE STATE OF ARKANSAS,
TO WIT;
LOTS SIXTY (60) SIXTY ONE (61) AND SIXTY TWO (62) IN
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME UNTO THE SAID BRUCE LUNSFORD AND MAY LUNSFORD, HIS WIFE,
AND UNTO THEIR HEIRS AND ASSIGNS FOREVER, WITH ALL APPURTENANCES THEREUNTO
BELONGING.
AND WE HEREBY COVENANT TO AND WITH THE SAID BRUCE LUNSFORD AND MAY LUNSFORD, HIS WIFE, THAT WE WILL FOREVER WARRANT AND DEFEND THE
TITLE TO SAID LANDS AGAINST ALL CLAIMS WHATEVER, AND THAT THE SAID LANDS ARE
FREE FROM ALL LIENS AND INCUMBRANCES.
IT BEING EXPRESSLY UNDERSTOOD THAT A
VENDOR’S LIEN IS HEREBY RETAINED UPON SAID LOTS OF PARCELS OF LAND TO SECURE
THE PAYMENT OF RESIDUE OF THE PURCHASE MONEY HEREINBEFORE MENTIONED, AND THAT A
FAILURE TO PAY ANY OF THE ABOVE DESCRIBED NOTES WHEN THEY BECOME DUE AND
PAYABLE THEN ALL OF THE NOTES SHALL BECOME DUE AND PAYABLE, WHETHER DUE OR NOT.
AND I, L. SHIRLEY, WIFE OF SAID W. T.
SHIRLEY, FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION OF THE SAID SUM OF MONEY DO HEREBY RELEASE
AND RELINQUISH UNTO THE SAID BRUCE
LUNSFORD AND MAY LUNSFORD, HIS
WIFE, ALL MY RIGHTS OF DOWER AND
WITNESS OUR HANDS AND SEALS ON THIS 13TH DAY OF JANUARY 1913.

DULY COMMISSIONED AND ACTING W. T. SHIRLEY AND L. SHIRLEY, HIS WIFE, BOTH TO ME
WELL KNOWN AS THE GRANTORS IN THE FOREGOING DEED AND STATED THAT THEY EACH HAD
EXECUTED THE SAME FOR THE CONSIDERATION AND PURPOSES THEREIN.
