For
the consideration of Two hundred dollars, cash in hand to us paid, the receipt
of which we hereby acknowledged, we, Jeff Medford & wife Rebecca Medford
& John Jennings & wife Melissa Jennings, all of Crockett Co., Tenn. have
this day and date bargained, sold and by these presents do hereby transfer
& convey unto J. I. Lunsford of same Co. & State, his heirs &
assigns forever, the following ½ of undivided interest (or a ¼ undivided int.
each) in the following described tract of land, lying & being situated in 6th
Civil Distr. of Crockett Co., Tenn. & bounded as follows; on the North by
F. H. Kail, on the South by Phillips heirs, East by
B. F. Kail, and West by Cox, containing 37 acres,
more or less.
To have & to hold the
above described tract of land to him, the said J. I. Lunsford, him & his
heirs & assigns forever. We, the said

appeared before me D. B. Dodson, Clerk of the County Court of said County, the
above named J. W. Medford, the bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted,
and acknowledged that he executed the within named instrument for the purposes
therein contained, and Rebecca Medford, wife of the said J. W. Medford, having personally
appeared before me, privately and apart from her husband, the said Rebecca
Medford acknowledged the execution of the said instrument to have been done by
her freely, voluntarily, understandingly, without compulsion or constraint from
her said husband and for the purposes therein expressed.
