Whereas Charles Lunsford
has contracted to purchase of P. A.
Wright 266 acres and 112 poles of land in Obion County for the consideration of
Five Thousand and Three Hundred and Thirty Four dollars and said Wright has
executed to said Lunsford his bond for title to said land upon the payment of
the purchase money for said land as stipulated in said bond, date 12th
day of March 1866, and whereas the said Lunsford has this day agreed to sell to
Dr. David Bright the western portion of said 266 acres of land Beginning at the
mouth of a lane dividing the said Wrights farm leaving the stable and the
Western part of said land and the orchard on its East and running North with
said lane through to the North boundary line of said 266 acres said Bright is
to pay the following consideration for said land to wit, the said Lunsford is
tot pay on the purchase money due Wright Thirty five dollars per acre for all
the land purchased of said Wright East of said lane and the said Bright is to
pay the balance necessary to make up the amount of purchase money to be paid to
said Wright said Bright is to pay his portion of said purchase money when said
Lunsford has to make his first payment to said Wright and said Lunsford has the
privilege to move the stable on his portion of said land upon the said Brights paying his portion of said purchase money as
aforesaid, the said Lunsford agrees to make
or cause to be made to said Bright a bill in fee for said Western portion of
said land.

appeared before me G. F. Isbell Clerk of County Court of said County A. B. Enloe and S. W. Cochran subscribing witnesses to the
attached deed who being duly sworn depose and say that they are personally
acquainted with Charles Lunsford the bargainor of
said deed and that he acknowledged before them that he executed the same for
the purposes therein contained.
