Mr. F.G. Ferguson died at the home of his nephew, Wm Ferguson on (Sept.) 6 and was buried near Ripley in Resin Byrn Cemetery.

 He was 74 years old, a Baptist, and one of Lauderdale's oldest and most respected citizens: was called "Uncle Phil". 

Felix Grundy (F. G.) Ferguson is buried at Mary's Chapel Cemetery next to his wife, Darthula P. Byrn Ferguson.  Tombstone Inscription:  "In My Father's House Are Many Mansions".
