John D. Linville
- HEDLEY-
Rev.
Lewis Ellis of Lefors and the Rev. Bruce Howard,
pastor, officiating. Burial
will be in Rowe Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors Inc. of Clarendon. Mr.
Linville was born in Earl (Earle), He lived in An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II,
he was a member of the American Legion. In
1982, Mr. Linville retired as a mechanic. He
served as a commodities volunteer and as the chairman of the Christmas Fund
in Hedley. He was the last survivor of
"Yesterday's Children" and was a Baptist. He
married Della Houdashell in 1958 at Hedley. (This
should have read 1968) and Reatha Martin
of and
Pat Hargrove of Hedley; a
son, Johnny Harold Houdashell (last name
incorrectly stated, should have been Linville) of 10
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; nine step-
grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren; and a
step-great-great-grandchild. The
family will receive visitors from 7 until They suggest memorials be to
