Elizabeth (Lunsford) Swain

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Swain of Blytheville, 71, died Thursday at her home.   She was a lifelong Blytheville resident and a member of the First Baptist church.

 She was a member of the American Hairdresser's Association.  She was a retired secretary and receptionist at the Cotton Boll Vo Tech.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Swain; one son, Col. James Lentz of Blytheville; one brother, Henry Lunsford of Los Angeles, Calif;, and two granddaughters, Jamie Lentz of Blytheville and Cindy Lentz of Fayetteville, Ark.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Cobb Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Tommy J. Carney officiating.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. 

The family will receive visitors this evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  The family requests all memorials be made to the local hospice program.
