Robert Greenhaw, age 81, of Colt, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at a hospital in Jonesboro.

 

Mr. Greenhaw was born Oct. 29, 1918, and was the son of Charlie Greenhaw (Robert Greenhaw) and Arby Rimmer Greenhaw. He was a farm mechanic, a U. S. Army-Air Force Veteran and a member of the Village Creek Baptist Church. He was also a member of the American Legion and Veteran's of Foreign Wars.

 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn in 1945.

 

He is survived by his wife, Maxie Greenhaw of Colt; five sons, Leslie of Trumann, Terry of Wynne, Darrel of Iowa, Jimmy and Steve, both of Jonesboro; three daughters, Linda Smith of Memphis, Mary Campbell of Colt, Debbie McGreger of Bruce, Miss.; a brother, Amberis Greenhaw of Russellville; two sisters, Gracy Towns of Russellville, Inas Camp of Manila; 23 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

 

Visitation will by Friday, March 24, 2000, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Morgan Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 25, 2000, at 11 a.m. at Village Creek Baptist Church with Brother Albert Young officiating, assisted by Brother Neal Clark and Brother Darrell Cordell. Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
