Amanda Lunsford was the daughter of William Lunsford of Lauderdale County, who apparently died during, or shortly after, the birth of Sophronia.

Abram C. Osteen, along with his wife, are buried in Brooks Chapel Cemetery in Coldwater, Tate County, Mississippi.  His brother, Hardy R. and wife Elizabeth Lunsford Osteen, are also buried in this cemetery, along with other members of their family.
