1900
Moved from land in Mill Creek Township, Coshocton County to Clark,

1905
Moved the family to Coshocton and he started a lumber yeard.

Vera Conrad Grender says that her father would spend some of his Christmas days with Catherine's family in Pennsylvania. He would get up in the morning and take the train and return the same day.
2-7-93 talked to Vera some more.
Henry was born in Mill Creek Twp and lived on the farm there as a farmer until about 1901....when Vera was 6 month old. The family moved to Clark and Henry was in the business of building houses. Many of these were in Coshocton and about 1905 the family moved to this city. In Coshocton he opened a lumber yard and worked it with the sons Lloyd and Frank. Sometime before 1914 the lumber yard burned and there was no insurance. He then entered the timber business. He was cutting local timber and making it into railroad ties. Lloyd did some of the selling, Henry retired about 1928.
The house that Henry rented in Clark was owned by Helen Luke Ports widow of Christian Ports.
