BOBBY was another brother with who m I did not grow up, so there isn't
much to say about him. It was said that he was a good person and very
funny. I saw him a few times after I was grown and we had a bond even
though we had been separated during my young years.
He served in the Marine Corps in WWII as a Machine Gun Crewman. He went
int o active duty on 2 Sep 1943, separated 4 Feb 1946, with an honorable
discharg e.
He did not marry until he was about 28 years of age, married "Stella" who
was 10 years his senior, and was married to her until his death in 1969.
There were no children of this union.
Bobby had cancer of the Larynx and removal of larynx, a couple of years
before his death. Then at time of his death, t he autopsy report says
"patient fell at home for reasons unknown" and died from "Brain stem
hemorrhage due to massive epidural hematoma right frontal temp oral." He
was buried at Rosehill Cemetery in Robstown, TX--the same cemetery where
