OBITUARY:
Carl K. Streby, 80, of Churubusco died yesterday at home. The Noble County native retired in 1970 from Snyder Grain Co., Churubusco, after 26 years. His wife, Mary E., died in 1963. Surviving are sons Kenneth of Columbia City and Robert of Dayton, Wash.; his companion of 20 years, Roberta Lambert; 6 grand-
children; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 stepgrandchildren; and 2 stepgreat-grandchildren. Calling will be 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. today at Sheets Funeral Home, Churubusco, with services at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Albion.

OBITUARY:
Kenneth William Streby, 57, Columbia City, died at 10:42 a.m. Monday, December 14, 1992, at Whitley County Memorial Hospital where he was taken after becoming ill at his home. He was born on March 9, 1935, in Syracuse, a son of Carl Kenneth and Mary M. Ferguson Streby. His formative years were spend in the Churubusco area where he graducated from Churubusco High School. After completing his education, he was employed at Snyder Grain Elevator in Churubusco for 20 years, then for a brief period at Form Tube company in Albion. Later, he worked at the White Automotive Company in Columbia City for seven years and retired from the Adamar Plastics Company in March 1987. He was first married in 1961 to Linda Sue Lambert and they made their home in Churubusco. On November 7, 1975, he was married to Martha J. Fosnaugh Hile and they have always resided in Columbia City. The surviving relatives include his wife, Martha; two daughters, Carla E. Streby of Columbia City and Mrs. Tom (Lisa) Wright of Fort Wayne; two sons, James William Streby and William Joseph Streby both of Fort Wayne; a stepson, Michael T. Hile of Columbia City, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ralph (Marcia) Carter of Columbia City; eight grandchildren and a brother, Robert lee Streby of Dayton, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. The funeral service was at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 1992, at Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, with the Rev. Bern Lytle, pastor of the Cornerstone Wesleyan church at Merriam officiating. The visitaion was two hurs efore the service of Wednesday at the funeral home. The burial was at South Park Cemetery.
