Ronald Langton-Jones. who was Beachmaster at Gallipoli and was mentioned in both Army and Navy dispatches and awarded the D.S.O.. has died aged 52 at his home near runnel. Argyll. From 1929 to 1949 he was Inspector of the Imperial Lighthouse Service in the Bahamas. and his book "Silent &minds," published in 1944, had a foreword by the Duke of Windsor. Cdr.
