     Isaac Bright was born in 1763; in 'Foreign Parts.1,2' He was He arrived in Sheffield about 1786 with his younger brother Philip 'and both of them became jewellers and silversmiths'. The family business was called Bright & Sons

in 1786.1,3 He married Anne Micholls, daughter of Henry Micholls and Grenendla (Rachael) Mapthali, circa 1795.1,4 Isaac Bright and Anne Micholls had 10 children including Maurice (1796-1848), Selim (1799-1891), Elizabeth, Caroline (c 1811), Rebecca (1814-1838), Henry (b 1817), and Edward (b1819). They had 'dozens of grandchildren, many of whom also became jewellers' in 1796.1,5,6 Isaac Bright lived circa 1820 at Leamington, Warwickshire, England; where he moved with his son Henry 'to carry on the watchmaking-jewlery business...leaving Maurice to work in Sheffield.1' He appeared on the census of 6 June 1841 at High Street, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, as age 77, birthplace 'Foreign Parts' and he was a Jeweller.2 He died in 1849 at Leamington, Warwickshire, England; and his death was registered in the September quarter 1849 at Warwick Registration district.1,7 He was buried at Deane Road Cemetery, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1
