Lee, Son, age 3, birthplace Clerkenwell, Middlesex.1 He was educated on 10 January 1887 at Yerbury Road School, Islington, London, England; at age 8, his previous shcool was St Thomas School and his address was 27 Wedmore Gardens.3 He appeared on the census of 5 April 1891 at 127 Prince of Wales, Kentish Town, London, England, as Son, age 13, birthplace Clekenwell, London, and he was a Scholar.5

He married Florence Rose Jones in 1899 at London, England; and their marriage was recorded at Islington Registration district in the June quarter 1899.6 Harold Athelstan Lee appeared on the census of 2 April 1911 at 130 Millfields Road, Clapton, London, England, as Head, married, age 33, birthplace Clerkenwell, London, and he was a Post Office Mechanic Engineering Department. His Wife and three Children completed the household.7 He served in the Great War and The National Archives contain his British Army WWI Service Record.
