      Amelia Elizabeth Hunter was also known as Elizabeth Amelia.2,3,4,5 Her married name was Philbrook.1 She was born in 1857 at Plumstead, Kent, England; and her birth as Elizabeth Amelia Hunter was recorded at Lewisham Registration district, Kent, in the December quarter 1857.2,6 She was the Daughter of John Hunter, a Pensioner at the time of her marriage.7 She married Isaac Richard Philbrook, son of James Philbrook and Ann Thornton, on 27 December 1876 at St John the Evangelist, Penge, Surrey, England; and he was a 22 year old bachelor and she was a 20 year old spinster. The witnesses signed as Nimrod Philbrook and A Philbrook.
