Obituary Notes for Wilfred Leon (Lothian?) Dorais
WILFRED LEON "BILL" DORAIS, a native of Eureka, died in Sebastopol on April 2, 1988, at the age of 76. He was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Louis P. Dorais, and a descendant of the pioneer Humboldt Hanna, Lothian and Nixon families. He was a grandson of the late Mrs. J. N. Davies and nephew of the late Olive Hanna. Bill was a graduate of Eureka High School. After a long career in radio television and public relations in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, he spent several years as environmental coordinator for the transit improvement program of the San Francisco Municipal Railway prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Stella of Sebastopol, and by two brothers, Sydney Dorais of Auburn and James Dorais of Santa Rosa. 13
