Richard was living in Dover in 1659, but he had grants in Exeter in 1664, 1681 and 1698. He took the oath of allegience in 1677. He was living in Ipswich in 1693 when he was granted the administration of the Holdridge estate. He was living in Exeter in 1699. He sold to Peter Coffin his house and 100 acres on the north side of the way to Quamscott except what was given to his granddaughter Katherine Dyer. Issue- Ref:
Richard was in Capt. Gilman's Co. in 1710. In 1712 he and his mother sold grants made to his father and to himself in 1698. He then moved to Turbot's Creek in Arundel by 1719. Abigail and two children were living in Arundel in 1721 when a warrant was issued for her arrest and Mary Duley's. The Scarborough constable reported that Abigail was not found. Richard Smith of Biddeford was her bondsman. Issue-
