There are two families of MAISHMAN descent living in New Zealand, one from each of the larger families.

About 1912, Florence Elizabeth took her young daughter Ivy from their home in Barking, Essex to join her husband Sidney Brown THORINGTON in Auckland. Florence's mother was born Elizabeth Sarah MAISHMAN. Click here for the Records of her family.

In the early 1960's, a young Elizabeth Ann MAISHMAN also emigrated to New Zealand, married and produced a family there.
