I am the father of Rosemary Elizabeth. Because of emotional distance between my grandfather & his brothers the family history has been a blank. As a consequence myths have grown up about the family. There is another branch of the Manchees in the State of New south Wales, they are i believe the desendents of John charles Manchee, who settled inthe Hunter Valley region of that state in 186's approx.

Mr. Manchee, I have a fairly detailed history of the Vaughan family from Ballyshannon and Toronto (and an even more detailed history of the Clement de Grandprey family on my maternal side). My father, Charles Stewart Dennis Vaughan (aka Denny Vaughan), had a very good boyhood friend named Charlie Manchee in Toronto. He was the youngest of four brothers, the oldest being Frank Manchee. Charlie (the younger) introduced Frank (the older) to my father's sister, Charmian Nora Vaughan. Please find the attached lineage for Frank and Charmian Manchee, and their ensuing offspring for your records. Regards, Kimithy Clement de Grandprey-Vaughan P.S. Hi There, My nephew Laurence Manchee has today e-mail an article from you and I assume he wanted me to get in touch! I have just spent the last half an hour glued to your information. I remember a Jill writing some years ago but I put the letter to one side meaning to give her a ring but for some unknown reason the letter went astray! I am Pauline Diana Gibbons, daughter of Geoffrey Paul Manchee. I had 2 brothers, Noel Clifford Manchee who will be 50 on 16th Dec this year 2002, and Harold who unfortunately died at the age of 3 half in 1969. My Dad had 2 brothers Francis who you have listed and also a younger brother Richard who died before my Dad and he has a son Andrew who seems to of disappeared. I am intouch with his wonderful Mum Margaret Manchee and she is very sad that Andrew chose to disappear after his fathers affairs were sorted. I have no idea where you are or why today of all days your wonderful web site has come my way via Laurence but I am so glad it has. My Dear Dad was so proud of his past and I know his brother Richard was doing what you are doing but I have no idea what Andrew did with all his findings when he cleared the house. My grand parents tomb stones are in St Peters church yard in West Molesey, Surrey, South East England. My Parents tomb stone is in St. Marys, Felpham, West Sussex. My little brothers is in St. Nicholas Thames Ditton. I have spoken many times with Uncle Frank in Canada when he has been over here and as a young girl remember his wife Aunt Charmaine with cousin Patty coming to our house at Thames Ditton. Patty was identical to me and it was spooky how we could of been sisters. Same Manchee pointed chin, same Manchee red hair...even same shade! We always were going to meet again but never did! Funny we just posted Uncle Franks christmas card....I hope they are all well over there...he has a HUGE family over there! Thank you for spending so much time doing what you are doing. Hi there, my name is Jaime, I am 15 years old, My dad is Stephen T. Manchee, son of Charles P manchee (my grandpa) My uncles are Philip, Mike, andmy autns are Jane, and Susie. I found this site,while i was searching and my (great uncle) Frank Manchee's name was found then I have been reading and searching through this website, it is really neat to read/see all of this, although it does need to be updated! My name is not on it! haha i was looking for a picture I could print off for my Grandpa for christmas, he would have no idea where i got it, but it seems you dont have any of him, so i guess no one has sent anything in, anyway it was really cool looking at a family tree and all the things to go with it, -jaime
