I am son of George Horace Baker (born 13/10/1918 in Watford England and still alive and living in Cirencester England)and I was born 15/august 1951 in Rochford Essex and emigrated to Brazil in 1974. My wife is Maria Izabel Lopes (please correct) born 20/oct/1955. Our 2 sons are Douglas Morris baker born 28/sept/1977 and Jonathan Eric born 21/01/1982, both in Sorocaba, Sao Paulo state, Brazil. More after we establish contact . I only know my father's uncle Horace Manchee brother of Cecil was killed in the first World War 1914 to 1918 somewhere in France.

Hi, How amazing to find my name "Mary Larkin" listed on your website. The unknown sibling for my family branch is Margaret. Also from my mother - Dorothy Ann Hird's branch the name Bruce Hird should actually be Robert Hird (unless Robert was a middle name) I know my mother at one time had numerous documents about her ancestry. I would be happy to find out if she still has them. Also the larkin branch has one more generation of children if you are interested Mary Della Malva (Larkin)

Allan Sparke Manchee was my grandfather he married Margaret Egan from Mt Harris Warren. Their children were Peter Dick and Anne Magaret. Peter has five children Mark, Tracey, Kim, Jon-Maree (now Baker) and Ben. Anne married Bruce Hawker and they have three children Gina, Ann-Louise and Richard. Allan Sparke and his brother Dick Manchee were raised on Doondi and Yamburgan and at around 21 moved to Pallamallawa to Biniguy Station when the Manchee bros partnership was split between AF Manchee and his brother. Anne Hawker still owns part of the original holding in the property Macquarie (wher Allan and Margie retired initially). Macquarie is 3000 ac on the river. My husband Jeff and I moved to Narrabri and we have three children Shaine Catherine (6yrs), Tom Allan (4yrs) and Joe Peter 3yrs. We live on a farm and breed Australian Stock Horses and Stud Santa Gertrudis Cattle. When Unclie (Allan)and Margie moved to Toowoomba Unclie called the house Doondi (place of water) and after his death we asked if we could use the name for our studs. Margie thought he would be thrilled as he loved Doondi. Jeff and I have the original breakfast table from Doondi that our children now use! All the best Cheers Jon- Maree Baker (nee Manchee)

HEY THERE MANCHEE CLAN... i didnt realize there were so many of us. I'm 19 and at University in Vancouver right now but i couldn't help but drop a line when i found your site. I am the grandson of Charles Manchee whose brothers were Frank, Ralph and Lorrie. There is a huge number of Manchees living in the Greater toronto area. We have a large peice of land in Muskoka Ontario which is a family peninsula called 'Manchee Point' in BALA.
