George was born January 31, 1871 in Angelina County, Texas to James Lindsey SIMS and Mary Ann PEAVY.  Nancy MOONEY was born August 1884 in Texas to John MOONEY and Mary Evelyn STRIPLING.  They were married December 3, 1901.  George died July 16, 1945 at Lufkin, Texas.  Nancy died 1909 and George died July 16, 1945.

     Their children are:

1.   Sadie was born July 10, 1902, married Andrew CARROLL.  She died August 23, 1952

2.   Tallie Augusta was born March 29, 1904 and married 1st:  Leonard Chester WILLIAMS;  2nd:  William
       Franklin GRIFFITH.  She died October 15, 1977

3.   Allie was born May 30, 1905 and married Robert THOMAS.  She died March 3, 1979
