John and Margaret Williams

John B. Williams and Margaret Strawn

     Margaret was born February 15, 1860 in Titus County, Texas to James M. Strawn and Celia Ann Spencer.  She died July 12, 1954 in Fletcher, Oklahoma and buried in the Fletcher Cemetery.
     John was born August 1851 either in or on the way to California.  He died 1902 in Montague County, Texas and is buried in the Illinois Bend Cemetery.

     John and Margaret's children are:

1.   Mollie was born December 1876 and married John A. Roberts and had Winnie, Earl, Fern, John Cyrus,                   Guymon, and Emma

2.   Angie was born May 1878 and married Jasper I. Miller and they had Lena and Arly.  After Jap's death, she                 married Charles Carmichael and they had Raymond.

3.   Joel was born 26 May 1881 and married Laura __ and they had Joyce, Avis, Russell, Grant, Stanley D., and
      Donald L

4.   James

5.   Emma was born April 1887 and was married to Fred Childs.

6.   Lecurgus was born 18 August 1892 and married Nora Belle Duncan.  They had Carl, Cecil, and Veva B.

7.   Etta was born 15 September 1900 and married Victor Andrew Kuntz and they had Elmo Charles, Dale Victor,
      and a baby daughter

     Margaret married Robert Morrison after John's death.  He died in 1923.
     Jap and Angie Miller and John and Mollie Roberts were the first to move to the Fletcher area from Illinois Bend, Texas between 1900 and 1907.
     Several of the descendants of John and Margaret Williams are buried in the Fletcher and Mountain View Cemeteries.
