James was born between between 1780 - 1790 in North Carolina.  He died March 5, 1846 in Washington County, Arkansas.     He married Nancy ___ about 1810 in Bledsoe County, Tennessee.  Nancy died before her husband, James.

     My first bit of information on James W. and Nancy Ingram  arrived in December 1986 from James H. Hunt of North Pole, Alaska.  James also sent me information he had received from a Ingram relative, Dorothy Ingram Snodgrass of Yakima, Washington.  From this information, I have found censuses and internet sites with information on James and Nancy's descendants.
