Thomas H. Seymour

Thomas Hunter Seymour and Josephine Evaline Taylor

      Tom was born January 16, 1852 in Johnson, Arkansas.  He died March 24, 1916 east of  Rush Springs, Oklahoma and was buried in the Rush Springs Cemetery.  He married Josephine on July 15, 1888 in Fort Worth, Texas.
     Josie was born July 10, 1867 in Tennessee to Jeremiah H. TAYLOR and Sarah MAYS.  She died on the 23rd of November 1947 at Fletcher and was buried beside Tom.
     Tom and Josie lived in Forney, Texas where their 8 oldest children were born.  Later, they moved to the Rush Springs, Indian Territory where their 2 youngest sons were born.  While living in Kaufman County, they lived near their Mays relatives.
