Bozeman was born in Virginia about 1795 in Virginia.  He died June 1877 in Franklin County, Tennessee.  He is the son of
Stith Mays.
     He appears in the 1850, 1860, and 1870 U.S. censuses for Franklin County, Tennessee.  The family lived in Civil District 3, near Salem.
     Bozeman married Urania HAWS.  Urania was born about 1799 in North Carolina and is the daughter of John HAWS.  Urania died August 15, 1884 in Franklin County, Tennessee.

 They had at least 13 children:
