Indenture 1875

This Indenture made the 29th day of November one thousand eight hundred and seventy five between Mary Maddock of Tandragee in the county of Armagh, Ireland, widow of the one part and Henry Maddock only son of the said Mary Maddock and Anna Frances Maddock his wife, both of Tandragee aforesaid of the other part. Winesseth that for and in consideration of the natural love and affection that the said Mary Maddock hath and beareth for her son the said Harry Maddock part hereto and also for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings sterling in hand and well and truly paid by the said Henry Maddock to her the said Mary Maddock at and before the execution of these presents, doth grant, sell, release and confirm unto the said Henry Maddock and Anna Frances his wife All That and Those the estate of Balladhoo situate in the Parish of Lonon and Isle of Man bounded on the North and West, by lands called Honess, lately the property of Catherine Allen deceased, on the East by Baldrine, and on the South by lands called Balladhoo formerly the property of Thomas Brew containing twenty seven acres more or less, and also all the estate, right title, interest, claim and demand both at law and in equity of her the said Mary Maddock in to our upon the said hereditaments and premises unto the said Henry and assigns for ever with their appurtenances, provided always and these presents are executed upon this express understanding that the said Henry Maddock party hereto, shall have always the full power and authority to settle and dispose of the aforesaid estate of Balladho either by deed or will or think fit so to do.  In Witness whereof the parties aforesaid have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above written.
