• Fanny arrived in Australia when she was four years, ten months and twenty-eight days old.

She had departed London, with her parents and older brother Charles, on the ship "Young Australia" on Saturday 14 May 1864.

The Reynolds family arrived in Brisbane on Tuesday 16 August 1864.

• Fanny was a Tailoress, as noted in her marriage certificate to Mark Parslow in July 1877.

• Fanny was living at Sixth Avenue, Ross Island, Townsville, at the time of the birth of her daughter, Doris Winifred.

• Fanny seems to be the name mostly preferred by officialdom, however, the details of her second born - Ethel - show the mother's name as "Francis Reynolds".

The death occurred in Cairns of Mrs. Fanny Wilkinson, Minnie-street, a very well known citizen of this town. Deceased was 67 years of age, and was born in England. She has resided in Cairns for many years. Mrs. A. Smallwood (Townsville), Mrs. R. J. Love (Cairns), and Mrs. F. C. Tyson (Cairns) are daughters of deceased. The funeral will move from St. John's Church at 12 o'clock to-day.

• William Powell, the minister who officiated at Mark and Fanny's wedding, conducted the ceremony in his own home in Boundary Street, Brisbane.

William was born in Hereford, England, in 1845, and was thus thirty-two years old when he married the couple, who were 26 and 17 years old. William entered the ministry in 1865.

He died on 1st August 1919, in Brisbane, and was buried in the Toowong cemetery.

• The minister who officiated at Frederick and Frances' marriage, Alfred Edward Hockey, was still serving in the ministry forty-one years later. His name appears as a member of the Church of England diocese of Brisbane ecclesiastical member - unattached to any parish, in 1936.
