Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is located on US 20 (McKinley Hwy) at 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, Indian. It may also be accessed by the Jefferson Road entrance.
On October 23, 1948, Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens was developed by Henry J. Person on what may have once been a nursery & tree farm. Indiana state law did not allow funeral homes and cemeteries to be combined and it wasn't until 1986 when the state law was changed that Fred Meyer, the owner of Memory Gardens Management at that time, bought Chapel Hill and combined the cemetery and funeral home into one convenient location. This became the first combined cemetery and funeral home of its kind in the region. Source: http://www.chapelhillmemorial.com/index.cfm
