Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 13, 2008 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 S. Saginaw, St., Grand Blanc, MI. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice Care Center. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI, and Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Church, with a Rosary being Prayed at 7:00 P.M. Sunday. Thomas was born November 30, 1931 in Detroit, MI, the son of Frank and Sophia Mashesky Singer. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #6742, Our Mother of Perpetual Help, the Caseville Elks and the Grand Blanc American Legion. Thomas served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors, Fisher Body Grand Blanc after 45 years of service. Surviving are wife Marlene; children David (Kathy) Singer of Atlas, Twp., Julie (Tim) McCarthy of Grand Blanc, Karen (Jaime) Ojeda of Woodbury, MN; grandchildren Matthew, Christopher and Lisa Singer, Megan and Robert McCarthy, Jordyn and Kaele Ojeda; sister Mary Ann Howe; brothers Alfred Singer and Joseph (Blanche) Singer; brother-in-law Robert (Barbara) Mack. He was preceded in death by brothers George and Carl. 2 |
