He was also a member of the Prince Consort Lodge, A.F. & A.M., St James Club, Royal Montreal Golf Club, Thistle Curling Club, Canadian Club, Canadian Railway Club, Traffic Club and the Montreal Board of Trade. He was also a fellow of the British Empire Society and was a life member of the M.A.A.A.

Married: 20 june 1905, Lillian Maud HIGGINS at the Erskine Presbyterian Church in Montreal Quebec.
