March 12, 1937, page 71, Mrs. Lucy Ann Thompson died Sunday. She was born May 26, 1863 in Tennessee and came to Baxter County at age 6 with her parents. She married Bill Gloer and to Anderson Thompson after Bill's death. She is survived by two sons, Chester and John of Mountain home, two dauthers: Mrs. W.D. Pressley of Mountain Home and Mrs. Edith Morris of Lawrence, KS, and five sisters: Mrs. Julia Cooper, Mrs. Melia Newman both of Mountain home, Mrs. Etta Leachman of Oklahoma City, OK, Mrs. Sude Inman and Mrs. Allie Jhnson of Holdenville, OK.

March 6, 1942, Page 34, Mrs. W.D. [Cora Belle] Presley, 60 Died Monday. She is survived by two sons, Wilson and Edgar, one daughter, Mrs. Nina Hale, one sister, Mrs. Edith Morris of Lawrence, KS; and two brothers: Edgar and Chester Gloer of Mountain Home. Burial was in Mountain Home Cemetery.
