Warren County resident and native Evelyn Faye Panter, 62, died April 12 at Columbia River Park Hospital after an extended illness.
A homemaker and retired employee of Southern Insurance Group, she was a member of Collins River Painters Guild, Gregory House, and the quilting group at Smyrna Church of Christ where she was a member.
The daughter of Thurman Elzie and Bettie Hillis McGee, she was preceded in death by one brother, Wilbur McGee.
She is survived by her husband, James Carl Panter; two sons, James Barry Panter of Atlanta, GA., and Marvin Larry Panter of Nashville; three brothers, Marvin and T.E. McGee, both of McMinnville and Vernon McGee of Chattanooga; one sister, Mildred Johnson of Ringgold, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 pm today at High Funeral Home with Ernest Laws oficiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
