1. Charley Runkle came to Missouri to look for a location and to visit in1881, as they had sold the Indiana farm. He bought a farm southwest ofHamilton, Mo. on west side of the present Higfhway #13, about 1/2 milesouth of the northeast corner of Kingston Township. The Runkles nextmoved to a farm southeast of Chillicothe, MO, not a town, a country storeand small post office "Cavindish" which was swept aaway by R.F.D. inearly 1900's. The farm bought from the Emersons. Effie later marriedone of their sons, Clarence.
   
   Lived in Kansa City, MO and then moved to San Fernando, California in theearly 1920's.
