Sargent James Garvin Runkle, retired from Highway Patrol October 1, 1970after 35 years. Had retirement party November 4, 1970 at Jefferson City,MO. His sister Pearl went with him and they had a nice time, she stayedthat night with her cousin, Effie Johnson.
