George Edward Wier, 70, passed away May 9th, 1988 at the Grand Island Veteran�s Hospital in Grand Island, NE. He was born to George H. and Alice Farr Wier on April 23, 1918 in Eustis, NE.

George married Donna Flor-ence Trosper July 6th, 1946 in Norton, KS.

Survivors include his wife, Donna, one daughter, Barbara Johnson, two sisters, Gladys Keith of Los Angeles, CA and Edith Wendlandt also of Los Angeles, CA and six grandchild-ren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son Stanley Wier, George was a member of the Cambridge V.F.W.

Funeral services will be at the Lockenour Mortuary this Thurs-day, May 12th at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Bob Dana officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge, NE with Lockenour Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be placed in George�s name at the Mortuary.
