Henry Barnett Watson was born on 13-july-1864 to Bridget Reddy and Lawrence Watson in Roxbury,ml,USA. He arrived in Australia in the mid 1880's.There is not a lot known about him.
He married Jane Mulloy (later to become Mary Jane Mulloy) Circ.1889.They had Eight
children, Francis Barnett, Lillian, Henry Barnett Jr., Charles Barnett, Sidney James
Barnett, Isabella Edith and Rose Mable. According to Mrs Mahon of Tullamore in 1988 (she was 89 at the time) Henry Barnett Watson was a
tall, thin man with a pleasant accent. She thought that the Watson's had their own mines....Aluvial Gold and platinum. Fifield had a population of 3000 at that stage.
Condobolin Newspaper "The Lachlander" reported on 27-nov-1912,"At Fifield last week
Mr. H. Watson's cottage was totally destroyed by fire. Nothing was saved and some of the family had narrow
escapes, Mr. Watson being away at the time of the fire."
Henry Barnett Watson was to Disappear later and was never heard of again.

Fifield is situated on Main Road 57N that runs from Condobolin through Tullamore, Tottenham and on to Nyngan, and is about half way between Condobolin and Tullamore.
