At long last, the MacMurtrie Clan Family Records are now available on a computer disc for use on your own personal computer!
This collection begun by Alexander David McMurtrie (1895-1859) contains information about every major family of McMurtries and McMurtrys (of various spellings) that have ever walked the earth – all 90 of them!
These families originated in Scotland and Ireland - some remaining there, others migrating between the two counties, and others migrating over the centuries to the United States, England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Canada.

The disc contains all the information about these families that has been “computerized” and includes recent discoveries about the origins of families, and maps, photos and old letters for some families. There is also a listing of books about branches of the family that provide more detailed information than is available in computerized form.
Over the next decade, we hope to convert more of the documents and books to computer form. Meanwhile, enjoy perusing what we now have to offer you!
