Hugh McVey and Mary Helton

My great-great grandfather was Hugh McVey, married to Mary Helton
and father of Samantha McVey, my great grandmother.  She married 
William Levi Mabes and had Lillie Mabes, my grandmother who married 
Elijah Harris.  Any information you have on the McVey line would be 
appreciated as my mother and grandmother both died when I was a 
teenager and my grandfather when I was 9.  My Hugh McVey was 
supposedly born in 1835 and died in Knox Co. Kentucky.

I am Keith McVay, I am looking for ancestors. Father Eudell Herbert McVay, 
grandfather Herbert McVay, that was around Perry, Fl. between 1920-1930.
My Grandmother was Vida Parker whose real name was Valdeese Parker. They 
were not married (so I was told).  The older Parker's will not talk about 
McVay nor have I been able to find any info on McVay's in that area.

I found Isaac's death record. Isaac McVay born 18 October 1795 Pennsylvania
died 26 February 1879 Page County, Iowa. Elizabeth wife of Isaac McVay born 
1815 died 1883. This is on their tombstone also. It's found in Posley Cemetery 
in Lincoln Township in Page County, Iowa. Elizabeth was Isaac's third wife.
His second wife was Odocia (HOLIDAY) Isaac married her 20 May 1819. Odocia 
died in 1844. Isaac married Elizabeth McCool widow of Gabriel McCool 26 July 
1845. Isaac married both Odocia and Elizabeth in Highland County, Ohio. His 
first wives name is unknown. I have found the name McVay and McVey I seem to 
have more luck with the spelling McVey. Hope you can help me. I just don't 
know where to find his parents. I've looked in every record anyone has told 
me about. It's like he has no parents. He fits in no family I can find. No 
matter how I spell the last name McV? Isaac lived in Pennsylvania, Highland 
and Knox Counties in Ohio, Knox County, Illinois for about 25 years and in 
Louisa and Page Counties in Iowa. Please help.
