The Caris Family of Wisconsin and the Netherlands Drawer Three - CARIS

John Francis Caris

John Francis Caris was born 15 November 1872 in Lottum, Grubbenvorst, Limburg, Netherlands, the son of Andreas Caris and Anna Gertruda Janssen Caris. Moving to the United States they settled in DePere, Wisconsin. A printer and linotype operator by trade his profession took him to Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida. He died 16 October 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama, and is buried in the Forest Hills Cemetery there.
