ARTHUR GAUTHIER

After a lengthy illness on Sunday, October 4, 1981 at de Salaberry and District Hospital, St-Pierre, Man., Mr. Arthur Gauthier, aged 63 years, of Fisher Branch, Man.

He was predeceased by his parents, Matilda and Joseph Gauthier and two brothers, Leo and Armidas. He is survived by his loving wife, Aurore of Fisher Branch ; four daughters, Emma Fontaine and husband Gilbert, Leona Fontaine and husband Gerard and Helene, all of St. Pierre, Eva Caners and husband Robert of Arborg, Man. ; three sons, Rene of Fisher Branch, Emile and wife Carolyne of Chilliwack, B.C., Leo and wife Stella of St. Pierre ; 121 grand-children ; eight brothers, Paul, Joe, Zenifel, Elderic, George, Rosaire, Lawrence and Eugene ; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7 at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Fisher Branch, at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery, Rev. Dennis Bourbonnais officiating.

AURORE GAUTHIER

Peacefully, at 3:05 a.m. on Monday morning, July 19, 2004, Aurore Gauthier passed away at the DeSalaberry and District Health Centre in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her children, Emma (Gilbert), Leona, Eva (Robert), Emile (Carolyn), Leo (Stella), Rene and Helene (Glen) her brother, Josephat (Therese) and her sisters-in-law, Josephine and Alma; grandchildren, Michel (Joanne), Luc (Vicki), Lynne (Darren), Daniel (Carol), Carole, Angele, Marc (Tammy), Clifford (Katherine), Lisa, Valerie, Ryan, Breanne, Justin (Shelly), Alain, Nicole, Greg, Sean, Cory and Tiffany; 12 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Aurore was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; her mother and father; her sisters, Georgiana, Rose and her twin sister, Aurise and by her brother, Honorat.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Repos-Jolys and the DeSalaberry and District Health Centre for their exceptional care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aurores memory to either the Repos-Jolys, the DeSalaberry and District Health Centre or the St. Pierre Manoir, all in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB.

Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Lalonde at the St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church in St. Pierre-Jolys on Friday, July 23 at 2:30 p.m. Viewing will begin at 2:00 p.m. The service will terminate at the church and cremation will follow. Private interment will take place in the St. Pierre Parish Cemetery at a later date. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220
